A recreation of an 1880 Persian Sultanabad, this new rug is 12.1 x 15.4 and was hand knotted in India using 100-percent New Zealand wool. It features a soft gold ground with red outlines and an all over pattern of floral and vine motifs with exquisitely rendered lotus blossoms. While the rug’s featured colors are pale gold and rust red, there are also shades of pale greens and browns. It is difficult to capture the true coloration in photos so enlarge the photos in order to see the fine details and true coloration. This is a beautifully handcrafted rug that preserves the look of an antique Persian rug.
Rugnet only sells hand-knotted new, vintage and antique rugs in excellent condition. As with all hand-knotted rugs, imperfections in knotting and coloration are expected and add to the individuality and value of the rug.
All rugs are shipped free of charge. There is no sales tax for customers outside of Virginia.
