This is a most incredible carpet with over 500 knots PSI !!! Made in China by a truly master weaver, this was an exercise in professional expertise and what is possible hand-tying wool knots in the making of a beautiful carpet. I normally only sell Persian carpets buy when something this special becomes available I feel that I must have it. Most very finely knotted rugs use silk as it has much greater tensile strength but here its wool. A wonderful deep green background with the field filled with minute flowers using exquisite detail. The design is a Persian Tabriz and is new, mint, in perfect showroom condition and never used. The size is 9 x 12.1.
