Size 10.2 x 12. From the town of Mashad in NE Iran (Old Persia), it dates to the 1950-59 period and has full, even wool pile and is in excellent condition. It is clean and with no repairs or damage. A really beautiful example of the weaver’s art, very finely knotted and signed be master weaver Amoghli Mashadi (Amoghli of Mashad). The natural dye colors have toned down to a really nice, muted patina. The all-over design is magnificent, really beautiful and this will certainly be the focal point in any room. Carpets of this fineness, colors, condition, signed and beauty seldom surface but it’s what I and my buyer’s agent strive to find. A great find at a really great price. $1995 Retail $4.5K or higher M-306
