Here I am offering a sensational Vintage Persian Tabriz with a very special design which is called Zelli. The Zelli pattern come from the Qajar dynasty and its original name is Prince Zelli Sultan. This came from an estate of a collector in Tabriz and thought to have been woven around 1910 but is in new, perfect, clean, showroom condition. It has a remarkable 400 plus knots PSI and is stunning! The size is 10.3 x 14.4 and was woven with soft Kork wool which was vegetable dyed. Obviously never used, it is a rare find for a rare rug. The intricacy of the details in the design is breathtaking and the finest of the knotting is the best Tabriz had to offer. It took a master weaver of the 1st order to knot this carpet and the design and colors are a work of art. $4295 Retail 18K T-444
