A beautiful and rare rug from the Persian village of Viss in Western Iran. The size is 4.3 x 12 and used old vegetable dyes showing natural ageing. Circa 1920-30, it has medium pile with no repairs, cuts, damage, or issues. This was cared for in Iran (old Persia) by its owner before recently coming to the US. Very hard to find in this condition and with such a wonderful design and colors. This will make a cherished addition and future heirloom to any home. V-229
