A wonderful village rug 1900-1939 in excellent condition with medium pile and no stains, repairs, or issues. The knotting is small and tight and the wool from that region is the best in Iran, using old vegetable dyes, which had aged to a wonderful patina. These village rugs are difficult to find, especially in really good condition. These are the essence of rug weaving, woven by the owner from wool from their sheep, dyeing the wool and creating the design as she goes along.
RugNet only sells hand-knotted new, vintage and antique rugs in excellent condition. All rugs are final sale and shipped free of charge. There is no sales tax for customers outside of Virginia.
