Persian Shiraz Tribal Oriental Rug  V-299

A really great Shiraz in excellent condition.  The size is 6.8 x 9.9 and is all wool, the pile, warp, and weft, all from the nomad’s own sheep.  It was hand spun and the wool died in small pots as these people were always on the move with their sheep.  The woman who wove the rug, and all the weavings was done by women, created the design as she went.  No pattern and nothing is symmetrical, just design as you go.  She did a great job both with the design and colors.  V-299  My wholesale price is $995.
