Antique and New Hand Knotted Rugs in Excellent Condition at Warehouse Prices
Persian Nain 10×13 Oriental Rug N-481
A classical Nain with a flower and vine overall design. Most Nains have a design with a center medallion but the rarer overall design makes it easier to work within our homes, nothing has to be centered as with a medallion rug. Soft multi colors using natural dyes on an ivory ground makes this an exceptionally beautiful carpet. It used soft Kork wool for long wear. Nain carpets are renowned for their fine knotting but the knotting on this is exceptionally fine (see photo of back). Circa 1950, this is in excellent condition. The exact size is 9.7 x 13.2. The wholesale price is $1950 with a retail of 7-8K N-481
The beauty of Persian carpets is timeless and never goes out of fashion. This will be enjoyed for generations to come. Persian Carpets are the original that others copy and are appreciated and valued worldwide.
