A lovely runner circa 1930 from the Kurdish region with the Turkoman Bokhara Goul design. This would have been woven by a nomad woman using hand-spun wool from her family’s own sheep in both the warp, weft, and pile. Hand dyed using natural dyes in shades of red with black and gold accents, this is a truly original artisan rug and one of a kind.
