Incredible 60-year-old Kashan and in beautiful as-new condition. From a collector’s estate in Tehran this has been in storage since the 60s. The colors are jewel like and show no use, a very rare find. It is signed by the master weaver “Akbar Kashann” who was well known and respected as a master weaver in the 1960s in Kashan. The size is 8.2 x 11.10 and has 250 knots psi. The field is a light Sage with an Ivory border on a terrific all over design. With proper care this will be enjoyed for another 100 years. My price is $2500 and I guess the retail value will be between 11-12K. This will be an incredibly good buy for someone and a fabulous addition to any home or collection. A very special and beautiful carpet of museum quality. K-165
