Persian Bidjar Oriental Rug 8×11 B-248

A most incredible carpet, the famous IRON RUG of Iran.  This is the rare Bidjar in new, never walked on in size 8.7 x 11.6 in super fine quality using 350-400 knots psi.  The knots on Bidjars are so tightly packed using a special tying technique that they will last for many generations.  It uses wonderful colors in the traditional Bidjar design.  It is very rare to find these rugs in such a high knot count but the master weaver who wove this rug used this to create intricate, and very detail small designs. Many experts consider Bidjar carpets the best of the Persian rug, and this is a very exceptional piece. I purchased this in a group of Persian carpets and made an exceptional buy, so you get an exceptional carpet at an exceptional low price.  $2195  with  a retail of 10-12K     B-248
