A beautiful Persian Tabriz size 10.2 x 14.3 feet.inches in excellent condition. This is quite a remarkable carpet with an incredible 300 knots psi, soft kork (lamb) wool, and a beautiful all-over floral design. The design is a floral and vine design whereas the flowers are dissected horizontally or vertically, a centuries old Persian technique. The colors are perfect and classical for a Tabriz and the knotting is small and very tightly packed which is only found in the finest Tabriz carpets (see photo of back). This was woven by a true master weaver and fine Tabriz rugs are at the pineal of Persian rugs. A top tier Persian carpet from one of the 4 best weaving centers in Iran.
