Beautiful Persian Village from one of the villages between Karajeh and Heriz in Northwest Iran showing design influence from both areas. Circ. 1900-1930s, the size is 5.2 x 8.6. The natural dyes have muted to a wonderful patina, much sought after by collectors and connoisseurs. It is finely knotted and woven free hand as the weaver created the design as she went…a wonderful treasure from the distant past. Excellent condition with medium pile height and no repairs, damage, or issues.
