Antique Persian Tabriz Oriental Rug 10×13 T-307
Out of stock
A wonderful antique Persian Tabriz Circa 1900-1910 with low but even pile. The size is 9.7 x 12.7 and it has soft Kork wool pile and the natural dyes have muted to a warm, aged patina. The design is a floral and vine design whereas the flowers are dissected horizontally or vertically; a centuries old Persian technique. The knotting and colors are very fine as only found in very old pieces. The only way that a fine carpet like this survived is that no shoes are worn in Persian homes otherwise this would have been lost to history. The beauty and fineness of this carpet harkens back to a time long past. What a great addition to any room and a certain focal point. Wholesale cost $1995 T-307
