An incredibly beautiful Persian Sarouk, hand knotted using the finest soft kork lamb wool and very fine knotting makes this a very special carpet (See photo of back of the rug). The all-over pattern with ivory medallion against a navy-blue background is stunning. This is an antique rug, circa 1930-40, and the natural dyed colors have muted to a wonderful patina. The many colors used make it easy to decorate with, and it will certainly go with any décor and be the focal point of any room. The actual size is 4.0 x 8.2 feet.inches.
