This is a Caucasian Eagle Kazak rug in excellent antique condition, Circa 1900-1930.It has low but even pile with no bare spots, repairs, holes, or missing pile. It does have some light blue color runs which can be removed by a professional oriental rug cleaning service. The size is 3.10 x 10.0. These are very rare and highly collectable as with all antique Caucasian rugs but especially the Eagle Kazaks. Many books have been written about these rugs which were hand made high in the Caucasian mountains above Turkey and part of Russia. The Eagle design got its name form the similarities to the old Imperial Russian double headed Eagle. It has wonderful traditional colors that have aged to a wonderful patina. My price for this wonderful and rare rug is $2250.
