A remarkable and beautiful Persian Tabriz who’s design dates back to the 16 C. rule of Shah Abbas. Woven in the mid-nineteenth Century by an unknown master weaver, the knotting is very fine which shows the designs in great clarity. Natural dyes and in wonderful antique condition, this design has not been woven in modern times and the size is 9.2 x 12.2. This has its original short even pile with no issues. It was stored and cherished by an Iranian family until coming to the U.S. A real treasure and museum piece ready to grace someone’s home as a centerpiece for generations to come.
