Persian Karajeh Kar-144

Karajeh 5 x 8.1.   Wonderful design and colors from the NW corner of Iran near Heriz.  It used the finest wool the region is famous for and has small, tight knotting. Circ. 1960 it is in excellent condition with no stains, repairs, or issues. A great rug with the design having strong influence of the rugs of the nearby Caucasus’s.      Kar-144
