Incredible Signed Persian Oriental Rug K-243

The highest quality found in a Kashan carpet, it used Kork lamb wool and incredible fine Kashan design with around 350 plus knots psi.  The size is 9.10 x 14.2 feet. inches. The incredibly high knot count allowed the weaver to create the most intricate and detailed small designs.  The colors are magnificent, skillfully chosen, and with the floral designs seemly to float on the field, a masterpiece.  It is mint and unblemished with only very slight wear on the fringe ends, real museum quality and in showroom condition.  Circa 1960, it was made by master weaver “Mohamed Asoodegi” and stated that it was made for one of Iran’s most famous politician, “Matin”, who was a provincial governor during the reign of the Shah.  This is surely one of the most beautiful and finely crafted Persian Kashan’s available.  The retail cost of this rug would be hard to determine due to its rarity, estimate around 11-12K+    My Wholesale $3595
