A beautiful hand knotted Ming design Chinese rug circa 1980 in excellent condition. It has a 1-inch soft plush full pile with an ivory ground and features beautiful shades of dark and light blue, as well as greens and light rust accents. The size is 9.9 x 14.0 and is a great value. China stopped making hand-knotted rugs in 2019 and now only produces machine made rugs. The hand knotted ones are now becoming very scarce and expensive with rug dealers. This rug’s quality craftsmanship and materials will ensure it will last and hold its value.
