Busy on a Loom

Busy on a loom. Large rugs will have 3 or more weavers tying knots. The curved knife is used to cut the yarn once knotted.

Afghan Weavers on Large Loom

Afghan weavers on a large loom. The tool they hold, a comb, is used to beat down the waft thread which runs side-to-side on top of each row of knots.
